Amazon Kindle Fire vs Blackberry Playbook

Planned a quick comparison, but there was too much to talk about so it turned out pretty long. I compare the specs, I compare features then I tell you what I like based on what’s important to me. Big subjective comparison. Also FYI, all Amazon features such as music and video streaming is available to the Blackberry Playbook; however, in web interface only. Not a native app. Which do you like and why? Comment below! Visit www.custompcreview.com for more unboxings, reviews and more!

@Shahabk818 No
The light sensor on the blackberry playbook is a pain in the but!! trust me, its awful when you are just in the right amount of light it will flicker bright dark bright dark non stop…. i shut that off!!!

@trashypickles what do u want skype on fire when it has no camera?
Dude sers what the hell… Based on features and specifications u gave the playbook the upperhand n u chose the kindle fire in the end… Hahahaha ur a gimp baaaaad…
why would the kindle have skype, but it doesnt have a camera?!?!?!?
i have used both and i prefer the kindle. more user friendly. took me about half hour to get used to the blackberry playbook and get to know its features. and it took me about 2 minutes to get to know all the features and how things work on the kindle fire.
(Note: BlackBerry Playbook does not have skype, or netflix. The kindle however does.)
@braedon218 Currently, Kindle Fire but the Playbook is expected to have access to the Android marketplace next month.
Which one has a wider variety of apps?

Well, just root the Playbook so you have the full Android Market.
I just ordered a new 64GB Playbook for $299.00 from the Blackberry shop. For $100 more it is worth it.
@QualityHoops android isn’t coming. android app compatibility is coming with playbook v2.0. It should be out within the next couple months. Beta is already out and you can test drive it.
when is android coming to playbook ?
@bamboelaa Yes
@maninabox32697 Yeah there’s quick office for the kindle fire that works for documents. I think in order to take advantage of prime features you need to be logged into her account.
does the kindle have word,or is there an app I can download to get something it? also I have the fire and I have a prediciment. I dont want to register my fire to my moms account on amazon (the one I mainly use) because it will be in her name and send her the emails. instead, i have it registered to my account, but she has prime, not me. would there be a problem logging into her account while the kindle is registered to me and using her prime, and how would cloud storage work(my account v. hers)
