Oblivion running on an HP Dm1z Netbook

This is the Steam version of The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion running on the HP Dm1z netbook/ultraportable with the Brazos processor platform (1.6 ghz dual core processor, AMD HD 6310 on board graphics) and 3 gigs of ram (with no overclocking, I might add). The game settings are all on ultra high with grass and shadows turned off. Both the Polygone and the Optimized Distant Land mods are installed. Outdoors the FPS ranges from 20 to 30. Indoors runs anywhere from 30 to 50. I apologize for the poor video quality and my suckiness at fighting (playing games one handed with a touch pad is hard). Other games I have running on this machine: Starcraft 1 World of Warcraft Guild Wars Civilization IV Torchlight Neverwinter Nights 1 Alien Swarm Videos of listed games made upon request. EDIT: I’ve done a lot more tweaking since this video and I would HIGHLY recommend turning the resolution down to 800 by 600 and turning down the water detail. Optionally, turning the textures down can also help it run smoother.

Got the little thing and a month in I gave it a good crack. Waited about 6 months and used it with manageable viewing area until I found a good deal on a matte screen. What are the major differences between a laptop and a netbook?
I’m thinking of purchasing a netbook because my laptop broke and it would be so much cheaper to buy a little netbook rather than a new laptop. Can anyone give me some examples of things you can’t do with a netbook that a laptop is capable of doing? Thanks in advance, this will be really helpful in my decision.
P.S. I’m a college student also, so I will definitely be writing papers and such.
