I will show you how to tether your android phone in “infrastructure” mode so that the Kindle Fire will recognize the network. This is very simple and free. Requires a rooted phone. Only tested on the Huawei Ascend 2 from Cricket Wireless. Take any action presented in this tutorial at your own risk.

WRT54G-TM wireless router is not the same part as the wrt54g or wrt54gl wrt54g-tm.blogspot.com which have only half the usable memory of the , T-MOBILE branded wrt54gtm version. Add DD-WRT firmware and you have a wifi repeater router. Share free internet with you friends, or office workers.
